Bering Sea Gold: No Snivelin' 2.06
The miners try to salvage what’s left of their shortened season. With only about 20 good weather days on the books so far, it’s now or never to make progress toward their season goals.
Steve is working good paydirt on the Christine Rose alone because Shawn has a court date for a DUI. Shawn is sentenced to 10 days in jail. He calls his dad to tell him about his sentencing, so Steve leaves Cody in charge of the operation. Steve tells Shawn to learn from his mistakes and not to do stupid stuff anymore.
Cody prepares for an overnight shift on the Christine Rose. With the season winding down, and their season goal slipping away, every minute counts. The crew will have to work through the night to make the most of their time on the water.

Vernon and his crew have been sleeping on the dredge to protect their honey hole. After a rough night at sea, Daryl gets to work underwater. He picks up right where he left off, clearing out a lot of chunky gold. Shortly into his dive, the suction hose malfunctions, and he resurfaces. Reluctant to vacate their spot with other dredgers sniffing around, Vern makes the hard decision to head in for repairs.
While Vern is sidelined, his daughter Elaine decides to jump on his honey hole. She figures the money will end up in the same place eventually anyway, but she wants her cut of the pie. She says that if he didn’t want anyone on the spot, he shouldn’t have run his mouth about the great gold he was getting and he shouldn’t have left a marker buoy for anyone to find. She and her boyfriend Flint Collins clear out what they want and leave a thank you note for Vernon to find in the bottle that marks the spot.
Vernon laughs about it when he returns with the Wild Ranger, thankful that it was her and no one else who raided their hole.
Vern: “What a fine daughter I raised.”
With their new hose successfully installed, Vern and crew return to their honey hole. But with the waters too rough for dredging, the Wild Ranger settles in for another night of sea sleeping.

Scott hasn’t left port, but he did get around to cleaning his gold. Everything seems to be on the up and up in his world, and for once he seems happy and enthusiastic about life. Scott meets with a gold buyer, but he comes up short of his dredge payment. His crew is angry that they are still broke and barely have enough to eat.
Scott decides to drink away his earnings rather than put the little money he has toward his dredging operation. He says that his drive and motivation is completely gone, so he might as well drink to make himself happy.
Scott: “The only problem is that my glass is empty. That’s the only problem I have.”

Zeke is back on the water with the Edge after filing the proper permits with the DNR. He sends John down to dive, and he’s finding good gold everywhere he looks. After a short amount of time, John complains of chest pains and a headache. The wind shifted, causing exhaust to mix with his air supply. Left long enough, John could have suffered from carbon monoxide poisoning.
Zeke takes the next shift, and after 5 hours, he asks Emily to take over. She is nervous to get back in the water after her previous two dives left her in near death situations. She complains about the bad visibility and tries to get her bearings underwater. After a few minutes, the flashbacks from her previous dives become too much and she resurfaces. She says that she feels a constant sense of panic underwater now.
Zeke sends Emily and John home for the night. He decides to sleep on the dredge to save time on setting up and tearing down the operation the next day.
